You continue to impress, Clarence.  I so look forward to this time of year. And you never disappoint.

Resilient people are the learners and the doers. They take big swings in life. Sometimes they miss, but they swing again.

Hence, they get farther ahead and live happier, more successful lives.

They’re also more liked and have more fun along the way.

Never stop being who you are.!!

The effect you have on others is the highest expression of your own life.

Still looking fit, inspirational and phenomenal at 88.  Something to continue to aspire too!

Those blue eyes of steel!

Fantastic!

My Father is 5 years older than you. I just wish he had embraced your exercise philosophy. He might be more functional instead of just sitting in his chair not doing anything. At least he never complains. Thanks for being a great role model for young and old alike.

I have been following your progress and recommendations for the last 30 years and I will continue to do so.

Kind regards

Hi Clarence,

In my opinion, you've found the right recipe for longevity and have been applying it for decades, resulting in what we see in your photo report.

Respect, and definitely keep it up. The world would be healthier and fitter if more people followed your lifestyle (that’s what I do).

Healthy greetings,

Robert

Hi Clarence

Just seen your photos, you look fantastic.  Your secret is to keep training at 88 years young.

You give me motivation.

Clarence:

Great pictures of you still very much at it at 88.

Plus, as you well describe, resistance training is now being recognized as having multiple health benefits and really a 'must do' for older adults. Pretty amazing - when I started training at 13 I didn't think it would be for a lifetime and particularly important to continue now in my 80's!

Dear Clarence and Carol,

Congrats to both of you on a wonderful set of photos of Clarence training at age 88!

Carol gets kudos for her photography skills, and Clarence of course for being able to do the amazing things that he can still do at the age of 88.

This is a great collection of “action photos” with so many different movements and exercises.  Clarence’s intensity is evident in every one of them.

All in all, it’s hard to believe that Clarence is still posing for and posting these amazing annual photos at age 88.

Since I just turned 64, this gives me great hope for my own future if I just keep training!

Clarence makes me feel like a youngster at 64, because he still seems like a youngster at age 88.

You look great, keep up the good work.  You are an inspiration to us all.

Hello Carol and Clarence, such a long time since our meet up at the truck stop in Albuquerque.

Although I’ve been out from behind the wheel since 2013, I’ve not stopped following your advice.  Still weight training a couple times a week and walking, hiking and in the summer cycling on the great trail system in the city of Sioux Falls which has been my home for the last 15 years.

We’re experiencing a bit more snow so far this year, a few inches every few days, so I get a little extra workout shoveling.

Your writing and photos still inspire Clarence, thank you for keeping us all informed.

You both are looking great!

Kind regards,

Steven

You are truly an inspiration to the bodybuilding community.  You have achieved and maintained physical excellence.  Most of us can't in a lifetime.
